Assignment:

Pick four interest groups or themes and create a magazine that intersects all four themes. The four themes I selected were veterans, public service, the National Parks, and outdoor recreation.

As part of this project we had to include a long original written piece of at least 2000 words, and a photo essay of at least 12 photos. The introductory piece on Mount Rainier National Park is an original piece, while the subsequent long piece on the crash of the Marine aircraft in the park was written by Daryl C. McClary, and originally posted on HistoryLink.org.
